About Us

In the wake of Adam’s passing, we knew we wanted to honor his life by helping other families. At first, we struggled to define our purpose—until we learned more about his online world. In his final months, Adam formed a deep emotional bond with an AI system that became a constant companion. Tragically, it was not the "friend" he truly needed. This "friend" ultimately played a key role in his suicide, including coaching him through the final steps. Our foundation’s primary mission is to educate teens and parents on the risks of AI companionship and to attempt to cause change in AI systems’ ability to act as a friend/mentor.
