About Us

At the time of Adam’s death, our family was arranging his funeral — and we were quickly overwhelmed by the significant costs involved. It became clear that many families, especially those with limited financial means, would struggle even more during such a devastating time. From this experience, the initial mission of the foundation was born: to provide financial assistance to lower-income families who have lost a teenager to suicide, helping them with funeral and associated expenses. This remains a core purpose of the Adam Raine Foundation.

Because of this, the foundation has a second vital mission:

To raise awareness about the dangers of teens forming emotional dependencies on AI companions

Advocate for better education, safeguards, and understanding in this emerging space.

Through these efforts, we hope to honor Adam’s beautiful life, support families in need, and shine a light on challenges that are too often hidden until it’s too late.
